Hebni Nutrition presents the 2nd annual Arts and Heart 5k and Community Health Fair!
Hebni Nutrition Consultants, Inc. (Hebni) is a community based, non-profit (501 (c)(3)) agency formed in 1995 to educate high-risk, culturally diverse populations about nutrition strategies to prevent diet-related diseases. In their early beginnings, the Partners of Hebni developed intervention programs and educational tools such as the “Soul Food Pyramid” and “Sisters: Take Charge of Your Health” which address populations, who are at high risk for poor health outcomes. Hebni’s programs serve populations who may be at-risk for cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and obesity.
Join us for a vibrant day of wellness and community at Lake Lorna Doone on April 6th! Our 5k run and health fair will bring the neighborhood together in a celebration of well-being, sponsored by Simply Health, Dedicated Senior Medical, and the Florida Department of Health! Fit 2 Run are giving the fastest runner a FREE pair of shoes. Packet and Bibs Pick Up will be Alafaya Fit 2 Run Location on April 1st, between Noon and 3pm and April 3rd between Noon and 3pm at 789 N Alafaya Trail, Orlando fl 32828
We offer a dynamic 5k experience, where you have the option to get chip-timed and scored for just $15. The 5k and the delightful Free Fun Run will take place from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, offering a fantastic way to start your day.
While you're conquering the 5k, our vibrant community health fair will be in full swing, welcoming spectators and featuring a diverse array of vendors, including talented artisans and valuable resources dedicated to enhancing overall health and wellness.
