Acuity Eye 5k

We’re back! After a successful first race in 2019, we took a couple years off, but will be back in person in 2022.

The 5k will be held at Dodge Park #5 in Commerce Township on the beautiful paved trails.

Accepting same day registrations in person.

Prizes will be back again in a big way! We’ll have free Ray Ban sunglasses to our male and female winners, age group special sunglass medals, and a bonus $100 Acuity Eye Care gift card to anybody that beats our optometrist, Dr. Edwin Gay. There will be more sunglasses raffled off as well as gift cards to local businesses. All participants that sign up by 7/30 receive a long sleeve T shirt. The ones from last time were very cool.

100% of race collections will be donated to VOSH again. Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity takes eye doctors to third world countries to provide great eye care to people in need.

To beat the heat, the race will start at 8:00 am. Water and snacks to follow.

Dodge Park #5 is located on the intersection of Commerce and Commerce. It’s located next to the Commerce Township Community Library, where additional parking is available.

There will be a free and short (~0.25 mile) kids dash 10 minutes before the 5k available to kids age 0-12
