Women of Today 5K

We welcome runners and walkers to join us Saturday, June 10 for the Third Annual Women of Today 5K. The race is unique to Syracuse, Indiana as it incorporates both portions of the Wawasee Area Conservancy Foundation (WACF)  trails and the Conklin Bay Boardwalk. This year will include additional trail signage and mile markers at 1 mile, 2 miles, and 2.5 miles. 

Participants can expect to run/walk on all terrain (trail, boardwalk, and road). Men, women, children, and four legged friends are invited to participate. The race entry fee is $30.00 per adult and $15.00 for youth 17 and under. Same day registration will be available for $40 per adult and $15.00 for youth 17 and under. Strollers are welcome and there is no fee for children riding in strollers. 

All race proceeds will go to improving the lives of youth in our community. In 2022, Women of Today was able to donate to summer reading programs at our area libraries, sponsor children to attend summer camp, open The Hanger (a full service boutique free to students at Wawasee High School), and more! 

Race entry includes t-shirt, bib, and professional times by RCC timing. Water and snacks will also be provided for participants. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the following age divisions: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. An award will also be given for best overall time.
