Swim Lakefest

Dive into the Open Water Swim Race on Big Bear Lake, a new addition to endurance sports events in the area. As part of Lakefest, the swim takes competitors from the sand of Swim Beach to Eagle Point and back to Ski Beach Park. Participants receive race swag, a finisher's medal, and have the chance to win awards. There is a cash prize for the top overall male and female finishers. Awards are available for various age groups, and wetsuits can be worn but are not eligible for awards. The water temperature averages 70 degrees, and there is a course cutoff time.
