The SZF Legacy 5K Walk/Run is more than just a race—it's a united effort to put an end to the devastating impact of gun violence. Lace up your running shoes and let's take strides together toward a brighter, safer future. Samaad Z Frazier Legacy 5K was created after losing Samaad to gun violence in Somerset, NJ on December 31, 2019. 

MISSION

One Family One Fight, Inc.—Our nonprofit was born from the heartbreaking loss of our son Samaad to gun violence, and our mission is to prevent other families from experiencing the same tragedy. 
Empowering Communities, Ending Gun Violence: Our mission is to build a solutions-based community dedicated to fostering peace, unity, and resilience. We strive to create a safer world by addressing the root causes of gun violence, supporting survivors, and empowering individuals to be advocates for change.

DATE, TIME & PLACE OF VIRTUAL/HYBRID RUN/WALK

Date: Saturday June 1, 2024
Time: 10:00am-12:00pm
Virtual: Anywhere!  It can be completed in your own neighborhood. You can walk, run, jog on your favorite running trail, at the park, or even hop on the treadmill. Sign up and get your friends to sign-up too! 
Hybrid: Meet us at Colonial Park on Elizabeth Avenue in Somerset, NJ at 10:00am. Grab your sneakers, water, family and friends on June 1, 2024 at Colonial Park at the Knob Hill Pavilion on Elizabeth Avenue in Somerset, NJ, Grove 3 near the Gazebo. 

REGISTRATION & FEES

You have the power inside your registration profile to save money by registering early and creating your own fundraising goals for this great cause. Click on Register and if you want to Donate click on the Donate button or go to the left navigation of the page and select donate. Or "Team Up" and become a Fundraiser by creating a fundraiser team.

PRE-REGISTRATION GUARANTEES

Race shirts are included with all registrations before May 11, otherwise they will be available while supplies last. You MUST register to receive your free t-shirt. 

SPECIAL NOTE:

This event will occur rain or shine. One Family One Fight reserves the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds and your entry fee will be used as a donation to One Family One Fight.
