Hayden and West Routt County have some excellent road and mountain biking opportunities, on a great network of quiet, rural gravel roads.  

"Ride The Cog" Routt County's Original Gravel Ride: A signature route that explores Routt County's original gravel ride, combining breathtaking views of Elkhead Resevoir and Bears Ears Mountain with a touch of agricultural heritage.

Longer Gravel Grinder Route (34 & 43 mi.): Offers challenging terrain with spectacular views. Breeze Basin Route (20 mi.): An intermediate route balancing scenic beauty and challenge. MTN Bike Clinics- Town Route: Join The Cycle Effect for Beginner and Intermediate MTN Bike Clinics. Limited availability to ensure coaches have ability to provide proper instruction. Kid Zone & Toddler Strider Course: A safe and fun biking experience for toddlers and kids 6yo and under at Town Park Tennis Courts.
