Pigg Path 5K

Pigg Path 5K - Saturday June 1st, 2024

The hugely popular Pigg Path 5K is back for its second year. Located along the Pigg River at Waid Park, this family friendly 5K will take you off the beaten path onto what some may call a pig path. The hybrid course will combine smooth cinder trails with sections of natural surface double and singletrack.
Age specific awards will be 3 deep. All finishers will receive a custom Pigg Path 5K logo sticker. Fastest overall Male and Female will receive the highly coveted Pigg Path 5K 5 Panel Hat.
Chip timing is provided by Run Roanoke.
Pre-registration fee of $15 and $25 day of the race. Pre-registration deadline is May 27th at 11:59pm. Registration opens at 7:45 am. Race starts at 9am.
Bonus: River of Lights! Stick around after the race and cool off in the Pigg River. All participants will have free access to float the River of Lights from 10:00am-2:00pm. Non-registered individuals may rent a tube for only $5.00.
