NWVFC Give it Hell Run/Walk 7K

Race Starts 8AM

The 15k course is a modified 2 loop version of the 7K course.  Both races will start at the same time with GUN TIME being used for  all awards.   All events at the Nuremberg-Weston Volunteer Fire Company on Hazle Street in Weston, PA.  The races will travel through the villages of Nuremberg and Weston before finishing at the Fire Company.  The course is primarily a road course and will consist of gentle hills and flat areas. All proceeds from the race will benefit the Nuremberg-Weston Volunteer Fire Company.

Professional Chip Timing will be provided by Second Wind Timing.

There will also be a 1 Mile Fun Run/ Timed Race for children immediately following the 7K or 11 A.M. The winner will awarded a trophy and 2nd/3rd runner ups will be awarded a medal.

Separate Trophy awards for the overall top male and female winners. Plus, 3 male & female medal awards for the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up for the 7k and 15k

The previous Emergency Responder category is now open to all Essential Healthcare Workers.  Trophy awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for top male and top female emergency responders participating in the race.  Responders must be members of fire, rescue, police, EMS organizations, 9-1-1 dispatcher, and any Essential Healthcare worker. 

**Participants wishing to guarantee a t-shirt must register by August 1st.  Anyone who registers after August st will receive a t-shirt on a first come, first serve basis the day of the race**

SPECIAL RACEDAY NOTES:

Each registered Runner/Walker gets entered in our door prize and also a choice for a free hotdog or an order(3) of our special homemade potato cakes, along with free post race refreshments. Registered kids for the fun run will also receive a goody bag.

CASH INCENTIVES

There will be a $100 cash incentive for the first Male and Female runner to beat the 7k or 15k course's best time. The best times are listed below:  

Fastest Male 7k Time set in 2018: 24:50

Fastest Female 7k Time set in 2021:  30:36

Fastest Male 15k Time set in 2022: 58:08

Fastest Female 15k Time set in 2022:  1:07:29

PHOTOGRAPHY

Fire & Film has partnered with the Nuremberg-Weston VFC each year to provide professional photos of the Give It Hell 7k/15k.  High quality photos are captured throughout the course as well as before and after the race and are then made available for purchase.  All profits from the sales of the photos are donated to the fire company.
