Monster Dash - Morningside-Lenox Park 5K

Get ready for a skele-ton of fun, fitness, and frights at the first-ever Monster Dash in Morningside-Lenox Park! On Saturday morning, October 26, join us for a 5k Halloween run/walk that will have you haunting the picturesque streets of this charming Atlanta neighborhood.

This event is perfect for fitness enthusiasts, families, and anyone who loves a ghoulishly fun time. Whether you prefer to run, walk or stroll, all ghosts and goblins are welcome for a morning of community, costumes, and healthy competition. And if you’re feeling feisty, be sure to bring your fastest broom for this chip-timed race. There will be a Kids Dash, too, for our younger runaway pumpkins! 

Don't miss your chance to celebrate our neighborhood’s centennial and support the Morningside-Lenox Park Association (MLPA). Dress up in your favorite costume and show off your netherworld spirit. This is not your average 5k - it's a Halloween smash. So mark your calendar for the Morningside Monster Dash! All proceeds support MLPA parks.

Runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages are welcome.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a chip-timed race. 

Strollers and well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome.

PARKING

Plenty of street parking (where permitted - no tricks!)

 

 

Overflow parking just a couple blocks away (about .4 mi) in the parking lot of Haygood United Methodist Church (1015 E. Rock Springs Rd. Atlanta, GA 30306). Entrance to the parking lot is along Sussex Rd.  Better idea is to walk, bike or Uber to the event

$35/registration. Thru August 31, 2023  (Three or more receive a 10% discount/registration.)

$40/registration. After September 1, 2023

Kids 12 and under participating in the Kids Dash are free, but registration is required for everyone’s safety. $15 for a youth-sized spooktacular t-shirt (optional).
