Annual Matawan Borough 5K Turkey Trot & Fitness WalkJoin us for a fun-filled day with friends and family at the annual Matawan Borough 5K Turkey Trot & Fitness Walk. The event takes place in the picturesque town of Matawan, featuring a scenic route through hilly neighborhoods. After the race, join us at the race party for medal awards, music, and photo opportunities at our backdrop. All registered runners will receive a race shirt, with limited availability for late registrations. This event supports local parks, beautification projects, and recreation programs, with a special collection for the Matawan Community Food Pantry.

The Matawan Community Food Pantry plays a vital role in the community, providing assistance to over 100 households each month. Help support their efforts by donating non-perishable food items or making a donation to reach our goal of $500. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Race registration is available online until the day before the event, with in-person registration available on race day. Packet pickup will be held at the Matawan Borough Municipal and Community Center on specific dates leading up to the race. The race will start promptly at 8:30AM, followed by an awards ceremony recognizing top finishers in various categories.
