Join us on October 19, 2024 for the Louisiana Legends Fest 5k and Kids Fun Run, organized by Homer Dixie Softball and sponsored by Barnette and Benefield, Inc. Proceeds will benefit the Homer Dixie Softball program that was developed in 2024 and has accomplished major achievements and awards in less than one year. We currently have two teams headed to the World series in Monroe on the weekend of July 26, 2024.
The race sign ups for Louisiana Legends Fest 5k will begin on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Packet Pick-Up is will be October 19, 2024 at 7:00am. The race check-in will begin at 7:30am, Kids Fun Run will begin at 8:00am, and the 5K Run will begin at 8:30am on October 19, 2024 with awards following the race.
Awards & Age Groups: Awards will take place immediately following the race. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be awarded to the following age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. We will have a special award for overall male and female winner.
