Hammerhead Olympic & Sprint Triathlon

Welcome athletes to the electrifying Hammerhead Olympic & Sprint Distance Triathlon! Get ready to push your limits at the stunning Camp Blanding Military Reservation, situated about 30 miles southwest of Jacksonville. This event offers both Sprint and Olympic distances, with an exciting Aquabike option available for both.Race Location:

Pre-race Packet Pickup:
Trek Bicycle - 1313 Beach Blvd Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 and Camp Blanding, Race Central Pavilion, 5629 State Road 16 West, (Avenue A) Starke, FL

Race Day Schedule:
- 6:00am - 7:00am: Packet Pickup and Transition Opens
- 7:15am: Transition Closes for all athletes
- 7:30am: First Wave Start

Prepare to tackle one of the state’s pristine waterways in Kingsley Lake, known for its smooth conditions perfect for a fast swim. The bike course, nestled entirely within Camp Blanding, promises minimal traffic and a few rolling hills, with two loops for Olympic and one loop for Sprint distances. Conclude with a flat, out-and-back run, well-supported by aid stations.

Course Cut-Off Times (Olympic Distance Only):
- Swim: 1 hour from last Olympic wave start
- Bike: 2 hours and 45 minutes from last Olympic wave start
- Finish: 4 hours from last Olympic wave start

Entry Procedures:
Athletes must check in at the front gate with a "Gate Pass" included in your athlete packet. Present a non-expired Photo ID. Friends and family wishing to attend must register on the website to be on the roster at the gate. No pets allowed on base.

Awards:
Celebrate achievements with awards for Overall Male and Female, Overall Master Male and Female, and in all categories, including 5-Year Age Groups.

Special Cash Prize:
Triathlon Club with the Most Participation is eligible for a cash prize (minimum of 10 members). The Hammerhead Tri Club is excluded from this prize.
