HAMMER DROP

Hammer Drop sponsored by MOAB Bike Shop, is a one-day Mountain Bike Race + Festival for all ages.  The 1st Annual Hammer Drop will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Chapel Hill, TN. It will include racing between the trees on the new Mountain Bike Trails at Henry Horton State Park, prizes and some fun swag from our sponsors/retailers. Plus you can enjoy the food trucks, beverages, vendors and plethora of activities for the entire family at the Duck River Outdoor Expo Friday, Saturday & Sunday!

Thursday (7/11): 
2PM-6PM: Packet Pick-up at MOAB Bike Shop (Murfreesboro)

Friday (7/12): 
2PM-6PM: Packet Pick-up MOAB Bike Shop (Franklin)

Saturday (7/13)
7AM-12PM: Packet Pick-up/Registration (onsite) + Snacks/Coffee
Pre-ride announcements will occur 10 minutes before start of each race.

8:00AM - BEGINNER
9:30AM - JUNIORS (11-17), KIDS COURSE (4-10)
10:30AM - PRO/ELITE, EXPERT
12:30PM - SPORT
1:00PM - E-BIKE

RULES/LICENSES
This is a USA Cycling-sanctioned event- all USAC and TBRA rules apply  A USA Cycling (USAC) annual or one-day license is required. Read up on USAC one-day licenses HERE.Please go to usacycling.org and renew/buy your annual license now (annual licenses are valid for one year). Use code TEAM24 at checkout for $10 off the annual license. If you are on auto-renew, you can disable that feature to take advantage of the discount. Use code INTROMEMB24 for a $49 RACE license valid for first-time members ONLY!One-day licenses for Category 3 (Beginner One-Day) are $15 and may be purchased through BikeReg during race registration.One-day licenses for Pro, Category 1, and Category 2 (Experienced One-Day) are $35. They should be available for purchase through BikeReg during race registration, or they can be purchased through this event-specific USA Cycling website.We WILL NOT process license renewals or new sales at the event. Please take care of this before arriving at the race venue.

Participants MUST provide proof of a valid 2024 USA Cycling Annual license OR purchase a one-day license during registration (details here). Racers categorized in the USA Cycling Endurance discipline as “Pro” must race in the Pro/Cat 1 Open group. *Please note: we are unable to offer refunds for this event after June 1, 2024

SPECTATORS/VOLUNTEERS
If you do not plan to ride, please register as a Volunteer or Spectator. We recommend bringing camp chairs, rain gear (if necessary), bug spray, sunscreen, cowbells, etc.
