Gypsy Hill Park Firecracker 5k

Date: Thursday, July 4th, 2024 Start time: 7:30am Location: Gypsy Hill Park, Staunton, VA Description: Join us on this fun, lightly rolling course through Gypsy Hill Park for Staunton's largest and most competitive 5k race. This race draws great crowd support as spectators start arriving for the parade that follows. Race participants will receive a race shirt, while supplies last, and awards will go to the top three overall winners as well as the top age group winners. All profits benefit the Salvation Army's Pathway of Hope Program. This is a rain or shine event.   Registration: Register by 5/27: $25 (guaranteed unisex t-shirt option) 5/28-7/3, 11pm: $30 (t-shirt while supplies last) 7/4: $35 NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION Packet pick-up: Early Packet Pick Up will take place at Sole Focus Running Shop, 210 N Central Ave, Staunton VA on Wednesday, July 3, 4pm-6pm. Race Day packet pick-up, 6:30-7:15am at Gypsy Hill Park.  Awards:
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, and to the top winner in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-36, 37-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66-75, 76 & over.
