Gathering of the Harriers 5K

This year the  Marion Senior High School Cross Country team will be hosting the first annual Gathering of the Harriers adult walk/run 5k at Hungry Mother State Park. This race will follow the same course as the VHSL-sanctioned high school racing event hosted by Marion Senior High School, Walker's Run. This will provide an opportunity for alumni from Marion Senior High School and surrounding area schools, as well as the casual or avid runners and walkers a chance to race and compete on the same course as high school athletes. The course is located in the beautiful Hungry Mother State Park and will consist of running on a mix of trail and asphalt with a few water obstacles and mild elevation gain/change. All proceeds will go to the Marion Senior High School Cross Country Team.

Parking at Hungry Mother State Park is FREE for all participants in the Gathering of the Harriers 5k. Registration fees will be collected on the day of the race via cash or check. Registration is $25 per runner and includes a Gathering of the Harriers 5k t-shirt! Shirts are printed on-site.
