EquiTek 5k Cross Country Fun Run and Race

EquiTek 5k Cross Country Race RUN for FUN in Tryon, NC November 18th, 2023! Tryon, North Carolina Foothills Equestrian Nature Center            Welcome to the second annual Equitek 5k Cross Country fun run or race! The start clock chimes at 9AM at the Foothills Equestrian Park, near the TROT Barn Facility.   Bring your best horse friend, dog pal or family member out for a good old time!
        The FENCE course offers a few challenging hills, crush & run footing, some hard packed dirt trail and a bit of pavement. The scenery is all that and more if you are needing a bit of an escape from the usual paved 5k running experience. Along with this scenic trail running opportunity, racers have the option to purchase a classy technical sport shirt!                 The Foothills Equestrian and Nature Park has the best running, walking or riding trails for horse and human. Escape the ordinary 5k and come play on the same cross country route as world class eventing and fox hunting horsemen and women!
Event day, November 18th,  parking will be plentiful so expect easy access coming and going from the course.    Event Details What: EquiTek Cross Country Race Where: Foothills Equestrian Nature Center (FENCE) - 3381 Hunting Country Road, Tryon, NC 28782  http://www.fence.org/about/driving-directions When: 9:00am on November 18, 2023 Packet Pickup: 60 minutes prior race start at registration tables at FENCE Overall Awards will be given out at the conclusion of the race Age group winners will be recognized and announced at 9:30am   Participants Receive Post Race Cookies and Water   Timing, Results, & Race Awards Top 3 Male and Female will receive an award! Each finisher will receive a finisher medal that will be branded with the race logo and custom lanyard. This event will be chip timed with instant results posted during the event We will also publish our age group results that will coincide with our Race Series.
