Update 1/4/24: all 1,000 spots have been claimed for 2024! Waitlists are now open for all distances/categories; there will certainly be some registration turnover as we get closer to race day, so if you didn’t get a spot jump on a waitlist now for a shot to still get into the race (more details regarding the waitlist process are noted below).
About:
Indiana's Premier Gravel Race, the Dust Bowl 100 presented by Zipp, returns for year #4! After welcoming a sold-out field of 800 riders from 29 different states in 2023, we're excited to be opening registration to 1,000 participants!
Traversing the wide open farm fields, century old bridges, and wooded creek valleys of west-central Indiana, the Dust Bowl 100 offers a scenic journey across some of the midwest's finest gravel roads. The event is meant to be a challenging race for those that want to push themselves and see how quickly they can conquer all that the route throws at them. BUT it’s also meant to be a rewarding and memorable experience for those that just want to unplug from the busyness of everyday life and explore roads that will refresh the soul. Three distances are available (100 miles, 80 miles, and 44 miles), so no matter if you choose to race, ride, or cruise, this event is for you! Come get dusty!
Registration Process:
We're increasing our total participant count from 800 riders in 2023 to 1,000 riders in 2024 to allow even more of you to join us!
Here are the registration process specifics:
Registration for ALL distances and categories will open at 8:00am EST on Monday, January 1, 2024. Once we hit 1,000 registrations in total (across all categories/distances), open registration will close and waitlist registration will become available. You will not be charged anything to join a waitlist; you will only be charged if/when you are moved into the event. In general, riders will be moved off the waitlist and into the event using the first in, first out principle (first person on the combined waitlist will be the first one moved into the event if a spot opens, regardless of category/distance). That said, the promoter reserves the right to give priority to those on the waitlist in underrepresented categories. If you deferred your 2023 entry to the 2024 event, we’ll be sending a separate email with information on how to roll that registration into the 2024 event before general registration opens.Route Details:
