Crape Myrtle Trail Run and Family Festival

Back for its astounding 16th year, the Crape Myrtle Run and Family Festival returns with an exciting course through the beautiful, fall tinged trail system of McKinney! Benefiting our McKinney students, the event features a UTASF certified course allowing runners to test their mettle while those simply looking for exercise can enjoy astounding views. Both one mile Fun Run and 5K distances are timed, with results available online immediately after finishing.

The fun doesn't stop at the run, though, as a family festival including face painting, a petting zoo, bounce houses and other amusements keeps the fun rolling!

Support our McKinney youth!

All proceeds go to benefit the Crape Myrtle Trails of McKinney Foundation, a non-profit that invests in the schools and students of McKinney and the surrounding areas. As such, during the registration process you will be prompted to select a school, which will directly benefit from your involvement. Choose the school your student attends, one in your neighborhood or one you want to support - there is no wrong answer when everyone wins. Each school will receive $5 for every runner who designates them for our grant program.

TIME: Fun Run - 8:00 AM, 5K - 8:45 AM

Packet Pickup

Wednesday, September 21st and Thursday, September 22nd from 3pm to 7pm at Run-On (5180 W Eldorado Parkway, McKinney, TX 75070)

Saturday, September 24th from 7:00am to 7:45am at Boyd High School (race site). NOTE: Please arrive early enough to do packet pickup and be ready to race!
