The Fred D'Elia Ridgewood Run

The Ridgewood Run ® honoring Fred D'Elia returns on Monday, May 27, 2024.

This year's race had been selected as the USATF-NJ 10K Open Men & Women's Championship.

This is the 47th running of this annual Memorial Day celebration. It is one of North Jersey and Ridgewood's premier kick-off events of the summer season.  It is a spirited, family-focused day of fun activities that include a 10K, 5K, the Ridgewood YMCA Kid's Fun Run, Competitive Mile, and a Mile Community Run. It is also home to the Kessler Foundation Wheelchair 10K which attracts some of the world's fastest wheelchair athletes.

Last year The Ridgewood Run® brought together over 3,000 participants, volunteers and spectators to town, attracting local and county residents as well as thousands of people from all across New Jersey, the tri-state area and beyond.

Race proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of New Jersey, the Kessler Foundation, Ridgewood YMCA and other local charitable organizations.
