Om eventet
Join us for a 4 mile run/walk through the Village of Montgomery at the best time of the year! This race is incredible and offers a chance to give to those in need during the holiday season. On Sunday, December 8th (the day AFTER the race), the Toys for Tots train will be stopping in Montgomery to collect toys for children in need. Please bring an unwrapped toy with you on race day, at packet pickup, or come back on Sunday for the Toys for Tots train! After the race, hang around for the Annual Old Fashioned Christmas festivities. More information will be provided about all the day's events in the village at a later date!
Location of the race will be in the area of Clinton Street and Wallkill Avenue in front of the Montgomery Montessori School (136 Clinton St. Montgomery).
Bib/swag pickup will be held at the Montgomery Village Hall (133 Clinton Street Montgomery) on Friday, December 6th from 5:00pm- 7:00pm and on Saturday, December 7th (race day) from 8:15am-9:15am. Please keep in mind that RACE DAY REGISTRATION will be $30 for the Adult Run/Walk and $25 for the 15 and Under Run/Walk.
Lightweight crewneck sweatshirts will be guaranteed to the first 150 registrants!
Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Runners and Top 3 OVERALL Walkers.
Awards will be given for the Top 3 Male and Female Runners in the following age groups: 15 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
KIDS FUN RUN WILL TAKE PLACE BEFORE THE 4 MILE RACE.
