New Foundations Home for Children 5K Cocoa Run & Walk

Join us for a fun-filled 5K Cocoa Run & Walk to benefit New Foundations Home for Children! Based in Anderson, New Foundations was founded in 1974 and serves foster and at-risk children and families throughout South Carolina. New Foundations offers in-home family preservation services, foster home services, and residential services, all to help children and families heal from trauma and other mental health challenges. New Foundations is a nationally accredited, nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization. We are committed to securing the future for children and families, whatever it takes!

The course is a timed event covering mostly paved paths throughout the Sports and Entertainment Center complex. Part of the course may take place on the complex's fields. This event is rain or shine but may be canceled in the event of severe weather, such as thunderstorms. We welcome and encourage both runners and walkers. Whether your goal is to race for first place or to enjoy a walk with friends or family, we would love to have you join in to support the children of New Foundations!

All finishers will receive race medals and a cup of hot cocoa at the end of the race!  Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female age category finishers.
