Maratona Monumental de Brasília

A very friendly Marathon for someone wanting a small and chill event. A brutal section from Mile 16-25 is a straight 4 miles back and forth down a major avenue, definitely requiring some serious mental fortitude. This part is not cut off from bikers/walkers either, so it takes the stress off but also means you’re dodging random people seemingly unaware of the event. Won’t be doing it again, but enjoyed the experience nevertheless.

A really Monumental track, large avenues but very green. Very difficult with slops and hot to very hot conditions

À 21 km avenue to finish the marathon !!
