KTA Trail Challenge

Immerse yourself in the challenge of traversing steep climbs and rocky terrain that lead to breathtaking vistas and picturesque forest landscapes. The course offers a thrilling adventure for trail runners seeking to conquer rugged paths and hikers looking to complete a demanding journey by the evening finish time. Exciting news this year - the Trail Challenge 25K has been revamped to run in a north-to-south direction. The route will begin in Pequea, navigate the challenging ascent to the Pinnacle Overlook, descend into Kelly's Run, and conclude at Susquehannock State Park. Enjoy a post-hike picnic and explore various exhibits at the second pavilion in the park.

To enhance the experience, morning shuttles will be available. Simply arrive at the state park, hop on a bus from Susquehannock to Pequea, and then finish the hike back at your own vehicle. No more waiting for shuttles in the afternoon! Participants can choose from two start times to suit their preferences - an early start for those eager to hit the trail or a more relaxed late start. Select your preferred time during registration, and we will endeavor to accommodate your choice.
