Kensington 8K

The Kensington Race has been a beloved event in the DC area since 1994, known for its vibrant community atmosphere and scenic route through Kensington and Rock Creek Park. It's an event where parents and kids come together to support each other and visiting runners. All proceeds benefit eight local schools, including Kensington Parkwood ES, North Bethesda MS, Silver Creek MS, and Walter Johnson HS, as well as North Chevy Chase ES, Oakland Terrace ES, Rock View ES, and Rosemary Hills ES, contributing over $350,000 in support since 2009. This race blends challenge, excitement, and community spirit.
