Eagle Pride 5 K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

8:30 start time - 1 mile (Seymour Athletic Program) + community (BIBS NEEDED) 9am start time 5K (Region 1 Wrestling Clubs) + community (BIBS NEEDED)   1st annual Eagle Pride 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.  **First 200 paid registrants will receive a race shirt** First 200 5K finishers AND first 100 1 mile finishers to cross the line will receive a commemorative medal. 
All proceeds will go to the Seymour Wrestling Club to support the growing club. It will go towards outfitting a larger wrestling room to help our wrestlers become 1% better everyday. The race registration is as follows:
$35 for the 5K - Now til Sept. 30. Price increase over time.
$25 for the Fun Run - Now til August 31 $30 Sept. 1 til Raceday
This event is a great opportunity to get the Seymour community together while having a great time and getting in some exercise.  Included in the Fun Run there will be some healthy competition among the Seymour Athletic Programs to see which program has the fastest combined time. This is concluded by averaging 1 coach and the TOP 5 athletes times per program. Award to follow. 
Region 1 wrestling clubs will do the same competition in the 5K. Top 5 times averaged together with 1 wrestling coach to find out who has the fastest club with an award to follow.
