Downers Grove, IL Ostomy 5k Fun Run

Join us for the 1st Annual Downers Grove, IL Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in celebration of Ostomy Awareness Day. 

For the past six years, the Ostomy Support Group of DuPage County has hosted their own Run for Resilience 5k walk and run, as well as Ostomy Awareness Day events. This year, we have decided to make this an official event. Please join us and UOAA to celebrate 7 years of Ostomy Awareness and Support in Downers Grove, IL. 

All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) organization.  Donations are tax deductible (https://www.ostomy.org).

Packet Pick-up Friday, October 4, 2024 Pick up will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Byram HealthcareSaturday, October 5, 2024 before the start of the run, between 9:00 am and 9:45 am at Byram Healthcare Race Day Schedule 9:00 am to 9:45 am Same day registration and packet pick-up10:00 am 5k Run/Walk/Roll STARTS11:30 am Awards Ceremony Register by September 6th and Save!

Take advantage of the 'Early Bird' Registration Fee of $24.00, which includes a unisex adult or youth size T-Shirt and Bib. You will also be guaranteed the T-Shirt size you order. After September 6th, the Registration Fee will increase by $5.00 and T-Shirt sizes and/or availability are no longer guaranteed. 

Race Course
This fun run/walk/roll will be held on an approximately one-mile looped course from the Byram Healthcare building on Woodcreek Drive.  The route will proceed along Birchwood Place to Lacey Rd to Woodcreek Drive and back to the Byram building.  Course maps are available online and will be posted at the registration desk. 

Parking
There is ample free parking at the Byram Healthcare office.
