Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County

The 13th Annual 5K Run / 2 Mile Fun Walk “Race to End Hunger” will take place on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at Butler County Community College at LindenPointe parking lot in Hermitage. The 5K will begin promptly at 9:00 AM with the 2 mile walk immediately following. The Kid’s Fun Run begins at 8:30 AM for children 6 and under. This year we will be racing to honor Breast Cancer Survivors! 

ALL RUNNERS AND WALKERS WHO CROSS THE FINISH LINE WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING TO WIN $1,000!!

Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County (CFWMC) is the food bank that provides supplemental food assistance each year to over 4,200 households throughout Mercer County through its 30 member agencies. In 12 years, the “Race to End Hunger” has raised over $285,000 thanks to the generosity of many sponsors and participants. Our goal is to raise $25,000 this year.

Awards: Top 3 Male & Female overall. Top Male & Female Masters (50 and over) Age Group Awards: M & F Divisions: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59,60-64, 65-69, 70 +. Top 3 in each age group will receive a medal.

** Free Kid’s Fun Run (6 years and under): Kid’s Fun Run participants will receive a ribbon.

Fee: $18.00 pre-registration which includes commemorative race t-shirt. Entries received after September 9th cannot be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Same day registration fee is $20.00. Registration begins at 7:30 AM on race day at BC3 @ LindenPointe.
