Trail To Recovery 5k & 1 Mile Run/Walk

PACKET PICKUP WILL BE AT OKRUNNER IN NORMAN ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 FROM 6-8 PM. THERE WILL ALSO BE SAME DAY PICKUP ON SATURDAY. 

Join us Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. for our second annual 5K and 1 mile run/walk to raise funds to support Cleveland County Wellness Court by providing much needed resources and incentives for the program.  Cleveland County Wellness Court is a court program for people who have been diagnosed with a mental illness that are involved in the justice system and are charged with non-violent crimes. This program helps individuals receive treatment for their mental illness instead of being sentenced to jail or prison.  Some of the goals of Wellness Court are to teach participants to learn about their illness, the medications they are prescribed and how to manage their symptoms while remaining drug and alcohol free.  Participants learn to make good choices that keep them from future involvement in the justice system and help them become more productive members of society.  

T-shirts are included in the 5K event only, but are also available for purchase in the 1 mile event.  T-shirts are only guaranteed for registrations prior to September 13, 2023.  There are also sweatshirts available for purchase.  If you would like to purchase additional t-shirts or sweatshirts, email us at [email protected]
