Roman Rumble 5K, 1Mi., & 'Tot Trot'

ROMAN RUMBLE 5K & 1mi. Saturday, April 19, 2025 Rome, GA

 

PLEASE JOIN US for the 29th Annual Running of the Roman Rumble 5K & 1Mi. Fun Run/Walk, as well as the adorable 'Tot Trot' - Saturday, April 19th, 2025.  Bring the entire family out for this race which will honor our First Responders.  The race starts and finishes at W. 1st Street and 5th Ave. near Five Government Plaza.  Coolest of all, participants will have a chance to travel through the fire station bay downtown!!

Harbor House’s mission is

To provide a safe and caring place to evaluate the child who may have been abusedTo encourage the collaboration of social and legal agencies for the benefit of the childTo at all times lessen the trauma suffered by the child

 

Pre-Registration Fees:  

$30 -- 5K 

$30 -- 1 Mile 

FREE -- 'Tot Trot' 

(NOTE: The race is FREE to run.  However, you may purchase a t-shirt for your little precious one for $10.00)

 

(Reg. is Open until 11:00 PM, Sunday evening, April 13th.)  You must register by this date to guarantee your T-shirt size and lock in at the reduced rate!)  $40 Race Day Registration Rate. 

 

Pre-Race Packet Pick-up for those pre-registered:  More information will be forthcoming to those that pre-register with regards to Packet Pickup location and time! 

 

5K Race Route: 
This is a USATF-Certified Course and a Peachtree RR Qualifier!! The 5K starts beside 4 Government Plaza on 1st Street (just off 5th Ave.), goes along 1st St. before turning left at the Fire Station on Riverside Parkway, takes a left into the Library parking lot and enters the Heritage Trail System heading toward Ridge Ferry Park.  It  travels along the beautiful Oostanaula River before doing a turnaround and returning to make the following loop along W. 2nd St., W. 6th Ave., W. 1st St., THROUGH THE FIRE STATION BAY, and back along W. 1st St. to the finish at 4 Government Plaza.  It’s a VERY fast, very scenic, and (mostly) flat route in and around the Ridge Ferry Park.

 

1 Mile  Race Route: 
The route will start at 4 Government Plaza and travel along the beautiful Oostanaula River before returning to the finish, where you started.  It’s a VERY fast, very scenic, and (mostly) flat route in and around the Ridge Ferry Park.

 

5K Start-Finish  [The same for the 1 Mile]
Both the Start & Finish Lines are located near the Firefighters Memorial Plaza, 600 W. 1st Street, Rome, GA, 30161.  (NOTE: The actual starting line/finish line is about 200 ft. up W. 1st St. at the Police Station.)  Check out Rome's impressive Firefighters Memorial Plaza, then walk to the starting line.

Race Day Parking: There is plenty of race day parking in the 6th Ave. Parking Deck near the start/finish line, 3rd Ave. Parking Deck, or along Broad St.

   *Top 3 Overall Male and Top 3 Overall Female Winners
   *Top 3 Masters Male and Top 3 Masters Female Winners
   *Top 3 Male & Female in the following Age Categories: 10-Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & Over
