Octoberfest Half Marathon & 10K

This beloved event raises awareness and funds for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, striving to find a cure for this challenging condition.

Octoberfest is held in memory of Robert “Chip” Hamilton, a cherished local businessman who bravely faced Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). The event was initiated by his daughter, Ruth Hamilton LaClair, while Chip was recovering from a lung transplant and continues to be a testament to his enduring legacy, supported by family and friends.
