Novo Mesto Half Marathon

HALF MARATHON ROUTE The Half marathon course is predominantly flat with some gentle rolling sections, providing a fast and scenic route through the streets of Novo mesto and along the pictures river Krka. With only 102 meters of elevation gain, it offers a manageable challenge for both experienced runners and those aiming for a personal best. 10 KM ROUTE The course is completely paved. Start of the 5 km and 10 km run begins with the half marathon runners, sharing the first 4 km of the half marathon route. The 10 km course consists of two laps of the 5 km loop, allowing participants to experience the same beautiful stretch of Novo mesto twice. 5 KM ROUTE The new 5 km course starts and finishes on Seidlova cesta, alongside the half marathon and 10 km runners. For the first 4 km, the route follows the same path as the half marathon, allowing participants to enjoy the same beautiful scenery. After the 4 km mark, the course turns left onto Topliška cesta, heading towards the city center, and continues across the Šmihelski most bridge before making its way to the finish line. This route is officially measured and certified by AIMS, ensuring its accuracy and precision.
