Harry J Foundation 5k Presented by SERVPRO of Wilson County

Join us for the 3rd Annual Harry J Foundation 5k.

 

The Harry J Foundation is hosting the 3rd Annual family friendly event on November 18th at Charlie Daniels Park- a day filled with face panting, inflatables for the kids, FREE food and more! The event will be kicked off that morning with a 5k race! All of the proceeds from the event will go towards helping the Harry J Foundation continue its mission of providing financial, emotional, and spiritual support to families experiencing a prolonged NICU stay or the loss of an infant. Since the inception of the Harry J Foundation in February, numerous families within our community have received the support that they needed in their most difficult times. You can support the Harry J Foundation by participating in the race or by simply making a donation!    The Legacy of Harrison John Brooks:
While Harry J was still in the womb, we prayed daily that God would use him in a mighty way. Although his physical time on Earth was short, we believe his impact will extend beyond generations. While walking through this season, we have been overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our community. We quickly realized that not everyone is fortunate enough to have the resources needed to navigate a journey like ours. Although it is not widely spoken of, hundreds of families each year find themselves in similar situations. Through the generosity of those around us, we wanted to create a way to give back to the families who may not otherwise have the support to push forward. Our mission is to provide financial, emotional, and spiritual support to families who experience a prolonged NICU stay or loss of their newborn.
