Sisters Network® Inc. Stop the Silence 5K Walk/Run

The Sisters Network Inc. Stop the Silence National African American Breast Cancer Walk/Run is the first national breast cancer walk hosted by a black-led organization for black women. Drawing attention to National Minority Health Awareness month, this annual event sees over 5,000 participants from across the U.S. gather in Houston, Texas. The initiative honors black women diagnosed with breast cancer, with a portion of the funds supporting the Sisters Network Inc. Karen E. Jackson Breast Cancer Assistance Program. This program covers 3D mammograms for uninsured women and offers financial assistance to breast cancer survivors in treatment.
