For the Love of Running 5K/1K - Pearland, TX

For the Love of Running 5K/1K is a heart-warming race for the loving running community on Feb. 8, the Saturday before Valentine's Day. The race takes you around and through the Dawson High School Campus and helps support the Dawson Cross Country and Track & Field programs.

There is nothing more than to show the love of running and the love of the Dawson Cross Country and Track & Field programs.

Besides having the overall Male and Female winners for the 5k, the top 3 Male and top 3 Female awards for each age division of the 5K will receive awards. Entry fee for this event is $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1k if you register before January 27th. Race shirts will be guaranteed if you register by January 27th. Late Registration fee for the 5K will be $35 and $20 for the 1K will be applied for those registering after January 27th. Online Entry deadline will close February 7th at noon. There will be race day registration that will close at 7:30am on February 8th.

The 1K will start at 8 a.m., 5K at 8:15 from the south side of the school between the Gym and Baseball/Softball fields.

**In the event of severe weather or lightning, there are no refunds and the registration fee will be considered as a donation to the Dawson Cross Country/Track & Field Programs**
