This half marathon is one you definitely don't want to miss! The route takes you through the disused Great Central railway and the closed town and country roads of Britain’s railway centre. To make it even better, there is a 1k fun run for the family, for a perfect end-of-half-term day out. Kicking off at Hart field, you will run through a few clear country roads before returning to the town centre on the old railway line that is now a recognised wildlife hotspot. Get ready for a great day of running before all the Hallowe’en and fireworks fun!

Rugby Half Marathon
Alistair Mcdonnell outran roughly 658 runners to win with a time of 01:16:10, followed by Stephen Marks who finished with a time of 01:16:25. Matthew Glenn got the third place in 01:17:54.
In the ladies race, it was Sophie Booth (01:26:29) taking the top spot. She finished 42 secondes ahead of Natalie Bhangal. While Sally Baker came in third at 01:29:18

Results: Spencer wins inaugural run in Rugby

Rugby Half Marathon
Half Marathon
Winner Toby Spencer (1:08:56) was the only one of more than 800 runners to finish under an hour and 10 minutes at the inaugural Rugby Half Marathon held in Warwickshire, England.
Callum Rowlinson finished second in the run around Rugby with a time of 1:13:53.
Andrew Siggers followed a few minutes later (1:15:53) for third.
For the women, it was Amy Sarkies setting the mark to beat at 1:28:12.
Runner-up Sally Baker finished in 1:29:54.
Third-place finisher Katie White rounded out the top three with a time of 1:32:59.
