The route is made continuously, departing from Belmonte and passing through Penamacor, Serra de Malcata, Monsanto and Penha Garcia, Idanha-a-Nova, Castelo Branco, Tejo Internacional, Vila Velha de Ródão, Portas de Ródão, Oleiros Appalachian trails ending at the river beach of Aldeia Ruiva in Proença-a-Nova.It is done on a semi-self-sufficiency basis, that is, despite being a continuous route, with a time limit for completion, participants will find several Checkpoints along the route, where they can rest and replenish their strength.
