One loop of 6.706 km. 112 metres of elevation change. 24 hours. How far can you run!?
Welcome to the 2024 Skaftö 24hr Backyard Ultra! Situated on the beautiful island of Skaftö, join us for a run through forests, over rugged cliffs, along the glistening harbour and through the lush green fields. This will be a day to remember. With over 80% of the loop being off-paved-roads make sure to bring your trail shoes!
Join us on the day just for the run, or stay with us in the beautiful summer camp of Skaftögården! You can arrive on Friday, have dinner with your fellow runners and get a good nights sleep before the big race, and/or get a well-deserved sleep after. Book a whole room for you and your family or just get a bed in room shared with fellow runners! There will also be a possibility of putting up a tent on the site for a small extra fee to be paid upon arrival.
WE HAVE LIMITED PARKING AVAILABLE. PLEASE CONSIDER TAKING THE BUS TO THE EVENT OR SHARING THE RIDE WITH AS MANY FELLOW RUNNERS AS POSSIBLE. We have set up a Facebook event for the race, please use it to offer and ask for rides :)
