It was a great active, amazing location, not too crowded, and well organized.

Ran the 2019 Half Marathon. Plus points: It's a great city to spend a relaxing weekend. The route is quite nice along the river and through the tunnel. Drinks stations were plentiful and well ordered. Well signed route with markers every KM. Downsides: Some of the logistics are a bit iffy such as transfer buses ALL going to the start via the finish adding on about 15 mins. Lack of toilets on the route and not enough at the start. The website could do with a better map.

Not many hills on the HM but enough at the end of the first double run!

I only ran the mini marathon but I really like the experience. It was my first ever race. I was slow but I finished it. Only 1 downside to the organization, there should have been more toilets at the start.

I ran this race back in 2016, running the half-marathon. It was a warm September day and certainly not my quickest time. I will say it is a great location and running under and across the bridges of Porto is amazing. There is a strong group of elite runners who compete which is amazing to see! Porto is a great city to enjoy before and after the race and the race route takes in the estuary and bridges. Would definitely recommend it! It is also a really good value race in terms of the cost!

It was hot and a challenging half, but is pretty flat, so one that has PB potential if you train and get good conditions.
