Run For The Rescue 5K/10K/20K

Run for the Rescue is a FUNDRAISING event for Rainbow Meadows Equine Rescue and Retirement, Inc., located near Junction City, Kansas. Rainbow Meadows has provided 18 years of safe refuge for horses in need across Kansas and neighboring states.

We will have a 5K/10K trail walk/run/race.  It will be cross-country style and held on our 160-acre ranch in the Flint Hills of Kansas.

In addition we will offer a .25 or .5 mile "Hot to Trot" (walk only) for families followed by a "Kids Korral Obstacle Course" for ages 3-12.

There will also be an optional .7 mile 6-legged "Fun Run" with one of our Rescue horses, which will be limited to a total of 30 participants.  The top 30 individuals DONATING $50 OR MORE will enjoy this unique opportunity to complete the closed course with a rescued horse friend.

Bib and packet pick-up for the 5K and 10K will take place from 9 - 9:45 a.m. on November 4th at Rainbow Meadows.

5K/10K start time - 10 a.m.

Hot to Trot start time - 10:30 a.m.

6-legged Fun Run start time - 12 p.m.
