Ultra X Morocco

Ultra X Morocco is a two-day desert ultra that captures the essence of North Africa’s raw beauty and cultural heritage. Held annually in November, the event offers two race formats: a 110km two-stage challenge and a single-stage 50km race. The course navigates a dramatic and diverse landscape—runners will traverse rocky desert plains, green oases, ancient Kasbahs, and traditional Berber villages. Set in the cinematic backdrop of Ouarzazate, known as the “door of the desert,” the race combines tough terrain with a welcoming atmosphere. With daytime highs reaching around 30°C and evening lows dipping to 8°C, runners must be prepared for sharp temperature shifts. The route is fully supported, with the hospitality and warmth of the local communities adding a memorable touch to the race experience.
