Knysna Forest Marathon

The race is awesome, very well organized with friendly volunteers. The locals are very warm. The events around the marathon are awesome. Knysna is a very cool place with a lots to see. The sponsors are doing a lot to make the race enjoyable. The views that one gets are breath taking. With the marathon falling in with Oyster Festival, it also makes it a very good time to visit the area. The race makes it easy for the entire family to be part of, due to activities/events on offer. The race takes one through Knysna's most beautiful parts. It really leaves to its name "Knysna Forest marathon" as the most part of it is ran through the forest.

Even as a virtual run on the actual course, everything was well planned. One of the most beautiful runs ever! More gravel road (37km) than tar

This race has a stunning route through the forest. It is well organised. The start can be VERY cold! The scenery helps to distract you from the very hilly course. This is not a race to expect a PB on!

There is a half marathon and a marathon for this race, the scenery is so beautiful, why would you not do the full?
