We had perfect weather for our race, and the organisation was great. Living 10k from their I know that is not always the case in August. It can be anywhere between a rainy 10 degrees and a sunny 35. I picked up my bib the day before at Uppsala train station where there was a short queue. I was glad I did when I came to fjällnora and saw the lines trying to pick their's up at the start. I really enjoyed the varied scenery during the run (had to stop to let the train pass). It surprised me how many international runners there were. First 5 k was really crowded. After 17k I was mostly alone, al even though I didn't think I ran super slow (1.55)

Good and varied track, except for maybe 1k on a muddy forest track full of roots and rocks. Since this was after 18k I was however alone on the track and could focus on where I planted my feet. I heard from others that the 5k was mostly like this, but crowded. Apart from the risk of a sprained ankle the course is great.

It was the first time i have ever participated on this event. The organisation was excellent, and i loved the route. It was a bit hilly, but as we were not a huge crowd, we managed to run comfortably with enough space, without stopping on the narrow roads. The environment is very nice.

The route for the half marathon was amazing - you go through forests, around the lake and through villages (seeing the traditional red houses). It’s mostly running on gravel/road so it’s not too much running on uneven ground. We were unfortunately running in the rain for the most part so be prepared!

Nice, friendly and helpful functionaries. Great nature with varying types. Toughest race to date, but enjoyed it to the end

Phenomenal event... by far the best marathon I've ran yet! Volunteer staff were incredibly insightful and friendly, the route was breathtaking, the organisation was incredible. Well done to the organisers!

The aid stations were littered with a plethora of different aids and sustenance.

Very well organized and lovely to run through the forest witt great view of the different lakes. Sometimes challenging with the stones and roots but great with varying terrain.

Great event, amazing location and love the low key set-up. It is more of a mix btw trail and “normal” marathon. Should add min 30 min to your normal Marathon time - which is good to know beforehand.

Actual distance coveres was 44+ km

Great race, but the average temp above 28 burns my parts of my energy. But the organization and route are quite well. If you would like to run this one, a nice experience.
