Hydra’s Trail Marathon The “Hydra’s Trail Marathon” is a 38 km mountain running event which aspires to highlight the beauty of Hydra’s mountain scenery. While the route is dominated by high mountain peaks with breath-taking sea views, there are also many portions where the athletes will be running along the coast, smelling the sea salt. Run 'n' Fun A truly fun route that belongs to the city trail category. Ideal for the athlete to know the urban fabric of Hydra. The alleys with the stone mansions will fascinate the runner. The architecture style of the island may prompt you to ignore the time and just enjoy running. Besides, the distance of 5 km is ideal even for beginners. Of course the choice to make the route on Saturday afternoon is not accidental. Rock Race The Rock Race is an 18 km mountain running event which aspires to highlight the beauty of Hydra’s mountain scenery, without exposing the participants to the demanding elements of the Hydra’s Trail Marathon. It guides the runners through old threshing floors, chapels, abandoned windmills and ancient foot bridges, but the best part is, arguably, the coastal portions of the race where you will be running along the coast. The Rock Race will start at the port and the first section, as well as the last is the same as that of the Hydra’s Trail Marathon. Rookie Trail Race It is an 8 km route that aims to highlight the beauties of the mountainous landscape of Hydra, but at the same time it is adapted to a beginner. It is ideal even as a hiking route!
