Great American Wheel Race

The Great American Wheel Race is a 3,600 mile self-supported race that begins at the landmark Seattle Space Needle on June 15, 2025, and ends at the Washington Monument in Washington D.C.  This fabulous and scenic route across the U.S. utilizes established Great American Rail-Trails, gravel roads, and bike paths across the U.S. while linking those with the safest less traveled roads possible. The route consists of gravel paths, paved paths, gravel and paved roadways, with a goal to be separated from vehicle traffic as much as possible. Come “Get Some” and enjoy this phenomenal race crossing the U.S. from the West Coast to the East Coast.

Evan Deutsch, the winner of the inaugural 2024 Wheel Race said, “this is an incredibly good route, this should be the definitive route across”.

There are two registration options. The Race Class for those that want to race and chase across the country to the finish in Washington DC. The Touring Class for those that just want to tour, stop and smell the roses, and get to know the locals along the route.
