Come join Villa Bella Expeditionary School's 2nd Annual Color Crazy Fun Run!!!
Saturday, April 29th, 2023 Villa Bella Expeditionary School will host our second Fun Run around the CSU-P Campus. With over 400 participants last year, this event is open to VBE students, families, and friends. The run will be an exciting run/jog/walk filled with magic as runners get vibrant colors tossed on them as they pass through six bright color stations! The party will begin with sign in and same day registration opening at 8:00am and the race beginning at 9:00am.
The fun run starts at VBE, you will run around the CSU-P campus, and fly back down to the finish line back at the school! The 5k course is a non-timed event with some extra fun running through powder color stations.
When you register for this event you will receive a race bib colored by a VBE Explorer, a DJ hyping everyone up before and after the race, and Snacks and water at the finish line. For those that choose the option when registering, will get a custom Color Crazy Logo T-shirt. Kona ICE food truck will also be joining us selling delicious Slush ICE so that we can picnic and cool down as you recap your amazing race with your friends and family.
REGISTRATION INFO:
Main registration: March 1 - April 13 (t-shirt registration option available until April 13 deadline)
Late registration: April 14 - April 29 (t-shirt registration not available. Wear your own white shirt)
Paper registration forms are available at Villa Bella Expeditionary school elementary office where cash/check/credit card payment will be accepted in person only.
RACE DAY INFO:
Packet pick-up/registration opens up at 8:00 am.
Race start time is 9:00 am.
All participants must sign a waiver upon check-in if not completed in advance
An adult must accompany children 0-4 yrs. The course is approximately 3.1 miles looping through CSUP campus. Children ages 5 and up should be chaperoned by an adult participant if not confident in the race length. Any chaperone must also be registered for the race with a waiver completed.
Participants will have 1.5 hours to complete the course.
Sunglasses are recommended to protect eyes. The color powder is washable and made from a blend of food grade cornstarch, FD&C and D&C dyes and baking soda.

*Online registrants will have a processing fee through Runsignup- Fee is reduced per additional participant registered
*This race is non-refundable and all paid registrations will be donated to VBE's PE funds.
