The Center for Abused Persons hosts the "Steps To End Violence Everywhere (STEVE)" event in White Plains, MD, held at the Indian Head Rail Trail. Participants can run or walk to support the cause of ending domestic and sexual violence. Funds raised will aid victims and contribute to the mission of stopping violence. The event offers pre-registered runners a commemorative t-shirt, and the course features a paved, out-and-back trail. Donations can be made online, via mail, or through payroll deductions with the United Way of Charles County, the Maryland Charity Campaign, or the Combined Federal Campaign.
