KC Bariatric is thrilled to announce our 5K Celebration Run/Walk, scheduled for October 7th. This is not just a run, it's a celebration of the remarkable journeys and milestones of our patients who have shown remarkable strength and courage in their pursuit of a healthier lifestyle.

We extend a warm welcome not just to our brave patients, but also their family, friends, and anyone else in our supportive community. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a keen walker, or someone who just wants to show their support, this is an event for you.

This inspiring day aims to unite us all, celebrating our shared commitment to health, resilience, and the human spirit. It is a day to not only recognize the incredible strides our patients have made, but also to celebrate the possibility of what we can all achieve when we set our minds to it.

Not a runner? No worries! The atmosphere of camaraderie, joy, and mutual support will be just as invigorating. There will be food, drinks, live music, and an array of fun activities for all ages to enjoy.

Date & Time: October 7th, starting at 8:00 am

Registration: Participants can register beforehand on the bottom floor of Building A, located at 23401 Prairie Star Parkway. Look for signs directing you to the conference room.

Event Start: After registration, join us for the start of the event. It's just a short walk from the hospital, at the beginning of Hedge Lane Terrace.

Course: The course is a straightforward 5K out and back along Hedge Lane which will be completely closed off to traffic. This route is suitable for both runners and walkers, providing a manageable but meaningful challenge.

Post-Race Celebration: Upon finishing, don't rush off! Head over to the hospital parking lot for our after-race celebration. We'll have food, water, and a live DJ. It's a great chance to relax, refuel, and enjoy some well-deserved fun.
