Kathmandu Marathon

Since 2007, the Kathmandu Marathon has been the biggest city Marathon in Nepal. It has been held annually with a large number of participants from all walks of life, including sportspeople, the general public, businesses, the armed forces, journalists, NGOs and INGOs, political parties, schools, celebrities, and people from about 20 different countries.In 2022, the Kathmandu Marathon will be celebrating its 14th year and is expected to attract an even greater number of participants. The organizers are determined to make this year's event the biggest sporting event the city has ever seen.The marathon includes several categories to include all interested runners: Marathon, Half-Marathon, 5K Open, 5K School, 5K Masters, Wheelchair, Corporate Marathon (Relay), and Family RUN.
