Karen Eakes Memorial Fun Run

The Karen Eakes Memorial Fun Run features one mile and 5K races. The one mile course is perfect for new runners, young people and families and can appeal to competitive runners as well.  The 5K race is essentially two laps around Ward Lake and offers a chance to set personal bests or simply enjoy a 3.1 mile course in a beautiful setting. All of these races are to celebrate a wellness lifestyle and involve families in a healthy activity.  The race is free for participants 17 and younger, and $15 for adults. There are free t-shirts for the first 75 people to register for the races, and awards and refreshments. Join us for a fun morning. We run rain or shine.
