Bill Gregory Health Care Classic 10k/5k/2k

JOIN US Saturday, April 27, 2024 for the 41st Annual Bill Gregory Health Care Classic 10k/5k/2k.

Dr. Bill Gregory, a local Dalton physician who spent his career taking care of patients and promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles, was tragically killed in June 2006 in a bicycling accident. In 2007, the "Health Care Classic" race was changed to the "Bill Gregory Health Care Classic" to honor him and his commitment to the community. Over the years, the Bill Gregory Health Care Classic has become a beloved community event, as well as an invitation to continue the community work started by Dr. Gregory so many years ago.

For decades, this cornerstone event has attracted thousands of students, employers, providers, church groups and individuals to participate in the event's 2K, 5K and 10K races. Live4It Community has picked up the torch and is carrying the event forward as a joint effort with Hamilton’s Bradley Wellness Center. 10K - 8:15am

5K - 8:15am

2K Kids Classic - 10:00am

RACE COST:

10K - $25.00 until 4/12 then $30.00 to race day

5K - $25.00 until 4/12 then $30.00 to race day

2K - $25.00 until 4/12 then $30.00 to race day

Tshirts:

All participants registered by April 12th will be guarenteed a tshirt and can be picked up on race day.

EARLY PACKET PICKUP/RACE DAY REGISTRATION:

Friday, April 26th from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm or Saturday, April 27th starting at 6:00am up to 30 minutes prior to each race at Hamilton Medical Center Parking Deck (near the corner of Broadrick Dr. and Memorial Dr.) in Dalton, GA. 

RACE LOCATION/PARKING:

 All events begin and end near the corner of Broadrick Drive and Memorial Drive. 

Broadrick Drive will be closed between 7:00 am and 12:00 pm on race day.

Parking is only available in designated areas on the Hamilton Medical campus and Dalton High School (shuttle service available).

Overall M/F, Masters M/F, Top 3 M/F in each Age Groups - 9 and Under, 10-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and Up

2K Kids Classic

Overall M/F, Top 3 M/F in each age groups - 9 and Under, 10-14, 15-19

(only participants 19 and under will receive awards).

SHUTTLE INFORMATION:

The shuttles will be available from 7 am to 12 pm and will ONLY run between Hamilton's Parking Deck (located at the corner of Broadrick and Memorial) and Dalton High School.
